Our new “Alternative Transport Vehicle” is now in service at station 136!  Here is some information for everyone that will help us continue to accomplish the mission of the AT, to provide transport for critical patients. We are still waiting on a few items including AVL, the plymovent modification, and the unit radio to be installed but the unit is currently in service.

PS Trax
  • The AT is built in PSTRAX as *New AT136* and all check sheets and narcotics are active. It’s unit number is 0114.

  • It has keyless entry on the driver’s side door. The code is 47450, please save this number.
Leaving Unit Running While Locked
  • In the picture below you will see a silver button directly below the light switch. This button is used to leave the vehicle running when on scene of a call. The procedure to put the vehicle in park, press the silver button (wait until it begins flashing red) and then remove the keys from the ambulance. You can then lock the unit and take the key fab with you. If the brake is depressed fully or the transmission is taken out of park while the key is out of the ignition, the unit will shut off.

 

Chainging the House 02 Tank

Below are some photos about changing the house O2 tank. Once the wing nut is removed the bracket arm can be moved towards the wall to remove the tank.
